Robert Devine

Robert is an experienced attorney and managing partner at Implement Legal. He uses his experience working with large multinational corporations such as Google, Sony, and T-Mobile to advise artists and creative business owners on contracts, patents, and strategic planning.

Before joining the team, Robert worked as an associate at Cleary Gottlieb, a large international law firm based in New York City. His work solving complex legal and business challenges - combined with his MBA in finance and multiple law degrees from Duke University - allows him to serve clients in areas of contract drafting and negotiation, business formation and restructuring, and corporate transactions such as asset purchases and sales.

Robert is a veteran and Naval Academy graduate. He served over a decade as a military officer and department chief at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he oversaw more than $700M in annual revenue collections and a staff of 120 employees. As the firm’s operations wizard and finance guru, you can trust him to guide your business and protect your practice.

Robert is a skilled introvert who likes pour-over coffee, noise-canceling headphones, and Dante’s Comedy. He is also a former college professor, with master's degrees from Georgetown University and St. John’s College. Outside the office, he writes fiction and builds LEGO® modulars.
