Loops & Leaps™
Most creative businesses arrive at a point where the work is good and the momentum is real, but something keeps slowing them down. Usually it’s a cluster of unresolved legal and structural questions—a contract that was never formalized, a trademark that keeps getting deprioritized, a business arrangement that relies on mutual goodwill and nothing else. These are open loops: not crises yet, but accumulated drag on everything else.
Loops & Leaps™ is a 90-minute strategic consultation followed by a written report and three months of implementation support through Continuous Counsel. The purpose is to identify what is actually unresolved in your legal and business infrastructure, sequence the work correctly, and close it.
The Consultation
The 90-minute session covers five areas:
Intellectual property — What you’re creating, how it’s currently protected, and where you may be holding rights less securely than you think.
Contracts and agreements — What governs your working relationships, including the arrangements that aren’t written down.
Financial structure — How money moves through the business and whether the current structure serves your tax position and growth plans.
Insurance — What coverage exists and where the gaps are relative to your actual exposure.
Tax planning — Whether your current approach is creating liability or leaving room to optimize.
We send a prep checklist in advance. You don’t need to gather documents beforehand; the checklist helps you think through your situation before we talk.
The Report
Within one week of your consultation, you receive a written Loops & Leaps™ Report. It contains:
Five open loops: the specific unresolved issues with the clearest impact on your business
Three leaps: the forward-looking projects that will materially change what your business can do
A sequenced implementation plan with specific services and pricing
The sequencing matters. Not everything is equally urgent, and attempting to address everything at once typically means addressing nothing well. The report tells you what to do first, what can wait, and why.
Implementation
The report is the beginning of three months of work together in Continuous Counsel, not a document you receive and act on alone. We close the identified loops with you, in sequence, with priority scheduling and direct attorney access throughout.
This is why the firm is called Implement Legal.
Pricing and Scheduling
If you’re not sure whether the timing is right, an Initial Consultation is the place to start.
